About
Dullahan Racing was founded in May 2023 by members Eoin O'Neill and Conor Hawkins. After getting approval for the team the lads quickly assembled a team of expert TY students from the school. Along with teachers Mr Kehoe and Mr Timlin the team aim to compete in the competition at the highest level.
Competition
Formula 1 in Schools is a competition run by Formula One to inspire the younger STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) generation.

Students who are competing have to create, design and manufacture a model car that is raced against other cars. Students compete in regionals and if they win they progress to national finals. In national finals, the team competes against the other regional winners and if they place in the top 4 the team will progress to the F1 in Schools World Finals!
St David's History
St. David’s has competed in F1 in Schools on multiple occasions in the past. In 2009 our team the ‘Koni Kats’ won the national finals and then went on to win the whole competition when they won the international finals in London. Just a few years later in 2013 ‘Bardahl Racing’ gave St. Davids its second appearance in the international finals. They came away with the award for best-engineered car in the competition.
