Hi Everyone, Hope your well, this is the teams monthly newsletter for May
Nationals It's hard to think that we are now less than a month away from our national finals at the University of Limerick on the 31st where the team will be racing, we are looking forward to the event and are now in our final preparations with presentations, portfolios and the car.
Car The final race car for the team is currently making its way over from Abu Dhabi where the car was manufactured by one of our partner teams. We are excited to share the final design with you in the coming weeks. Hopefully we will be able to announce the final version of the car in the coming week or so.
Verbal Presentation We have recently started to practise our verbal presentation with Mrs. Brosnan, It is coming along well but still has a lot of work to go to get it to where we want it.
F1 Bearings You may have noticed on our social in the past few weeks about one of our newest partners F1 Bearings, They are an industry-leading Bearing supplier for the teams in the competition and have kindly sponsored the team. Many Thanks to F1 Bearings.
AIB We have also partnered with a new sponsor in the last few weeks AIB Greystones, We are grateful for their support, Many Thanks to Niamh and the team.
Jones Engineering We are also delighted to announce a partnership with Irish-based engineering firm Jones Engineering. Many thanks to them for their support.
Sim Day Back in April, the team hosted a sim day in the school where Liam and Miguel brought in their racing simulator and the school community all had a go and fair to say it was good fun for everyone involved.
Pit Display We are currently finalising our pit display design and hopefully should be able to invite everyone in to take a look when it arrives in the coming weeks
Giveaway The team ran a giveaway of a jersey last week and we should hopefully be able to announce a winner later and present the winner with the jersey when it arrives.
